Your responsibilities

We are a global company delivering waste to energy solutions for sustainable future. We turn waste into energy and much more. With offices in 14 different countries we provide our employees stability and growth. We are growing very fast globally and also locally, that’s why we are looking for new colleague to join us in our brand new Bratislava office as an Office Assistant. At HZI you can work with experienced professionals but also young and driven colleagues from more than 30 nationalities.

In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating office related tasks, mainly the following:

• Administrative support for brand new Bratislava office (100+ employees)
• Monitoring of office vendors such as repair and maintenance, office supplies and cleaning
• Support and backup to SSC manager for communication and announcements
• Organization of local meetings, events and reservation of meeting rooms including catering, local travel, taxi, accommodation and other bookings for internal, group and external customers
• Autonomous management of correspondence and emails in English
• All other administrative work including office supplies, filings, mailing, telephones
• Support to local and international travel arrangements for local team and group business travelers
• Participation in local projects in consultation with the supervisor
• May lead part time support with office growth as for backup and capacity
• Local petty cash responsibility and credit card settlement for local supplies
• Awareness and implementation of, as well as full compliance with HSE requirements relevant to the function

Your experiences

• Experience in independent handling office admin activities
• Proficient in team and business communication in international company environment
• Ability to work in diverse environment and multicultural organization
• Is persuasive with internal and external contacts
• Takes decisions independently within specified limits
• Strong experience in independent planning of travel, workshops, meetings, etc.
• Strong reliability, high ability to work under pressure, social competency, ability to manage conflict, assertiveness, credibility, discretion and service oriented
• Pleasant personality and ability to work with different cultures

Competence in working methods

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
