Your responsibilities

Responsible for assigned products/systems and being the point of contact for all electrical engineering matters during the entire project, supporting the internal project team across departments and for site team during erection and commissioning. Understanding of contractual requirements and building them into the technical specifications and ensure timely delivery to site meeting the projects requirements in terms of quality, budget, etc.

• Cooperation and communication with the Technical Project Manager, project team and external parties involved in the project
• Cooperation with the project scheduler (defining of man hours, design input data submission, etc.)
• Participation on clarification/design meetings with the selected vendors or client
• Preparation of the technical specifications for components and systems for RFQ process, technical evaluation of bids and joint
• selection of suppliers (include RFQ BANF, PO BANF, TCC, TII and other engineering documents, etc.)
• Supervision of suppliers throughout the project implementation phase (including documentation):
• Checking the documentation of suppliers (design documents, engineering documents, progress reports, interface specifications,
• information on construction, EIC).
• Reviewing the Quality-plans and incorporating customer requirements into QMS
• Preparing/defending of claims with Technical Project Manager (include Monitoring and removal of non-conformity with Suppliers)
• Working with HZI tools, as PIRS, Navisworks, COMOS, EPLAN etc… (after appropriate training organized by HZI)
• Collaboration with Quality inspectors, taking part of the inspection of the Supplier if needed
• Supporting EIC site team during erection and commissioning, including preparation of relevant documents
• Supporting and Participation in Factory or/and Site tests
• Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them

Your experiences

Job specific qualification
• Experience in electrical engineering of plants
• Autonomy in the management, development, communication and responsibility for complex EIC systems
• Experience in preparation of specifications for electrical equipment or systems
• Experience in substation design (AIS/GIS/Hybrid units)
• Experience in substation automation, control and protection systems. (SIPROTEC experience would be an asset)
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols (IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104 etc)
• Proficient in interpreting control schematics for HV breakers, HV and transformer protection cabinets
• Fluent (minimum B2 level) in written and spoken English, any other language skills are an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office
