Your responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain Management and being a member of the Supply Chain Management Team, you will monitor all supply chain activities at project execution level and be the representative of Supply Chain Management at managerial level (internally and externally)
  • Assist, coach and supervise Project Procurement Managers in execution of tasks
  • Implement monthly reporting on supply chain achievements in project execution
  • Drive effectiveness and efficiency of operational procurement tasks
  • Participate in developing related procedures and process improvements within overall function
  • Support the department in achieving objectives as well as support and deputise the Vice President of Supply Chain

Your experiences

  • Advanced Procurement Qualification or MBA
  • Project procurement expertise in industrial environment, preferably in the EPC business
  • Experienced in project management of complex, strategic projects with long-term orientation
  • Advanced negotiation skills (Iterative procurement and claims management)
  • Excellent knowledge of sourcing and bidding process
  • Good understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon)
  • Used to communicate at board level and across divisional structures
  • Multicultural experience
  • Fluent in English, German and any other language is of advantage
