Your responsibilities

  • Lead of Procurement activities for client tenders and organises the workload within throughout SM to ensure timely provision of competitive Tender information
  • Manage Tender procurement team
  • Leads supply chain issues within a given tender and is fully responsible for the fulfilment of the procurement process “tendering”
  • Is part of the committee to identify on future projects at an early stage the potential execution strategy, to set up the right measures on sourcing and supplier pre-screenings/costing to be ready when firm bids kick-off
  • Is part of the tendering core team and the contact point for the Sales for all issues related to Supply Chain (shall nominate dedicated persons to each Sales Project
  •  Nominated Procurement Tender Manager acts as PPM until NTP
  • Reviews, comments and takes into account the client specification related to Procurement and Logistic activities
  • Identifies commercial/legal/fiscal deviations from the General Terms and Conditions versus the EPC bid
  • Defines the Tender Sourcing Strategy (TSS) in close collaboration with sales and engineering team with respect to the overall company strategy, the project specific technical, commercial, legal and fiscal requirements (such as sourcing restrictions, financing constraints, country and project specific applicable standards and codes, Turnkey packages ...)
  • Defines specific strategic procurement points such as on/off shore, country of origin in case of cash in/out, etc.
  • Estimates the supply chain (SCM) and Inspection Budget for each project and ensure approvals by HoSM

Your experiences

  • Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Sourcing with good understanding in commercial domain
  • Experience as project manager/ tender project manager/ Senior purchasing leader or Sales manager
  • Good understanding of legal/contractual aspects of an EPC contract
  •  Risk management knowledge Fluent in English and preferably German
  • Cross culture knowledge/education and Proven experience in similar role
