Your responsibilities

  • You lead the civil engineering scope of a project (EPC civil work package or consortium projects) in close cooperation with the Customer and Project Management
  • You take ownership during civil tender engineering and civil execution design of specific engineering subjects, such as civil & architectural design, geotechnical design, foundation & structural concepts, infrastructure design etc.
  • You coordinate the subcontracted civil designers (Architect, Civil & Structural Designer and other involved specialists) technically and commercially
  • You participate on preparation of subcontractor’s contractual, commercial, and technical conditions of subcontracts and support during negotiation of contracts with subcontractors
  • You report to Project Management and Operations to facilitate civil engineering / civil construction progress and support claim management
  • You travel up to 10% of your time

Your experiences

  • You are a trained Civil or Structural engineer with 5+ years’ experience as Design Engineer within EPC or civil construction projects, preferably in big industrial projects
  • You have solid knowledge of international standards, codes, norms, and rules of the civil industry
  • You have solid knowledge in structural design software and 3D modelling applications (BIM tools, Autodesk, TEKLA and alike)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • You are an assertive, and decisive personality, who enjoys working with remote teams
  • You are fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
