HZI acts as an engineering, procurement and construction contractor and project developer, delivering complete turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal and biological EfW recovery. HZI’s Service Group combines its own research and development with comprehensive manufacturing and erection capabilities to support our clients throughout the entire life cycle of their plant.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead a team of procurement and sales experts, manage your unit’s budget, and focus on steady development of their knowledge and efficiency
  • Drive our parts availability planning, inventory management and warehouse & logistics coordination
  • Contribute on the strategic development of the spare parts service unit based on the company’s service strategy, and proactively implement new ideas and strategic improvements
  • Develop our operational tools as the ERP and our workflows and business processes in line with our service strategy
  • You are closely involved in procurement and continue developing procurement processes, as well as performing procurement and distribution market research

Your experiences

  • Technical education with commercial further education and 5+ years’ experience in the spare parts business, incl. handling technical drawings and third-party components
  • Experience in team leadership either of procurement or sales professionals
  • Strong communication skills for a broad audience, joy of working in an international environment, and focus on solutions rather than problems
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive mind, ability to inspire and lead others, and with diplomatic style when needed
  • Fluency in English and German, French or other European languages are a plus
