Your responsibilities
- Execution of equipment and packages lots (responsible in terms of cost, quality and time) under the coordination of a technical project manager
- Coordination and provision of Concept und Basic Engineering under consideration of internal and external interfaces
- Preparation of technical specifications for the procurement packages
- Responsible for supplier selection and timely purchase order
- Supplier expediting during detail engineering (incl. documentation management and inspections)
- Active Collaboration with procurement, arrangement planning, civil department, electrical department and process departments
- Coordination of the construction works with regard to the integration of the plant as a whole, check of the interfaces for every single lot
- Ensure supplier compliance with HZI specifications (electrical & mechanical) and check of supplier documentation (e.g. datasheets, electrical documentation, mechanical documentation)
- Implementation of supplier data in our CAE tool COMOS
- Factory acceptances tests at supplier workshops and provision of installation and commissioning support
Your experiences
- You are a trained mechanical engineer with experience as project or product engineer in plant projects, construction or commissioning experience is a plus
- You have a good knowledge of CAE tools (COMOS, E3D, AutoCAD etc.)
- You have first experience with technical evaluation of suppliers and negotiations
- You are a strong team player, flexible and curious
- You are solution-oriented, autonomous, and proactive
- Fluency in English; Italian and other European languages are a plus
We offer
- Engineering Degree in the field of mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- Experience for >3 years in engineering preferably in plant engineering
- Good Process and Product knowledge
- First experience in the plant construction business and in the usage of CAE tools
- Solid understanding of wiring diagrams, cabinet layouts, datasheets etc.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers and in procuring complex systems
- Experience with multidisciplinary project teams
- Competence in planning and organization, problem solving skills, high quality standards, assertiveness, team and communication skills
- With basis on experience, recognizes possible solutions, adapts and performs in different situations
- Fluent in English
