Your responsibilities

  • Play an integral part of O&M team.
  • Partner with Business Development team to develop Modeling for O&M Bids.
  • Cross-Functional collaboration to drive legal entity and country integration to HZI Process and Tools.
  • Drive ERP Clean-up and SAP implementation with Group Support.
  • Design and Implement Finance processes for O&M globally (Monthly Closing, Forecasting, Budgeting).
  • Support design & Implement Business processes for O&M Sites (Order to Sales, P2P, Cash planning…)
  • Interface between local, external accounting company and the Head office in Zurich.
  • Supervise, review and coordinate results for allocated entities in France.
  • Manage country Risks & Opportunities together with Commercial and Project/Operations teams.
  • Review/Approval of payments.
  • Review of tax declarations for some O&M Sites (VAT, social security, corporate income tax).
  • Responsibility/review of Group Controlling reporting on legal entity view.
  • Responsibility/review of Group Finance reporting package (Balance sheet,P&L, Cash, Project Data...).
  • Single point of contact for any finance related questions from Zurich and/or Japan.
  • Validate actual results to ensure that variances are identified and initiate corrective actions.
  • Lead, control and oversee planning process for budget and forecast (updated by quarter and monthly rolling forecast) for Country and Legal Entity levels.
  • Provide quality and timely information for business decision making.
  • Initiate and manage cost reductions actions to reduce product costs and direct costs.
  • Ensure implementation of group rules, Compliance and Controls (DoA, SoG, DoW…)

Your experiences

  • 8 - 15 years of experience in Business controlling and / or project controlling.
  • Experience in O&M business in thermal segment.
  • Worked with modelling and sensitivity analysis of O&M contracts.
  • Very good command of SAP (PS, SD, MM, FI) and SAP BW.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel), PIRS, SAP Cash Tool.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German (other languages are an asset).
  • Basic Project Management skills/knowledge.
  • At least basic IFRS knowledge and awareness of tax issues.
  • Ability to work in a structured way
  • Hands-on mentality, innovative mindset, incentive towards change and improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complex matrix organization, adapt to changing requirements.
  • Capability to manage and motivate cross-function team members.
  • Can interact/support Plant Managers with their P/L.
  • Clear and effective communication on all levels (Unit, Country & Group).
  • Strong analytical skills, capability to identify and solve problems.
  • Result oriented and able to make decisions and be assertive.
  • Team player, customer oriented and experience working in international teams.
