Your responsibilities
Responsible for assigned products/systems and being the point of contact (internal and external) for all technical engineering matters during the entire project, supporting the internal project team across departments and for site team during erection and commissioning
- Understanding of technical contractual requirements, building them into the technical specifications and ensure timely delivery to site and meeting the job related project requirements in terms of quality, budget, etc. –
- Preparation of the technical documentation for components and piping systems for RFQ and PO process, technical evaluation of bids and joint selection of suppliers
- Supervision of suppliers throughout the project implementation phase (including documentation):
- If necessary, carrying out Pre-Inspection Meeting
- Organizing Kick-off meeting
- Checking the technical documentation of suppliers (design/engineering documents, progress reports as required, interface and Mechanical and/or EIC specifications, information for con-struction and commissioning)
- Reviewing the Quality-Plans and incorporating customer requirements into QMS
- Preparing/defending of claims with Technical Project Manager
- Responsible for the completeness of the CAE lists in his field (piping, valves, components)
- Collaboration with Quality inspectors and provide support during inspection phase
- Providing monitoring information as requested by project management and coordination with project team
- Supporting site team during erection and commissioning, including preparation of relevant documents
- Close cooperation and exchange of experience (feedback from project) with product managers
- Take care of the assigned subject areas as product manager
- Training and technical support for internal employees
- Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
Your experiences
- Good MS Office user knowledge
- Good English knowledge (spoken and written), basic German knowledge (spoken and written)
- High degree of understanding of quality assurance
- Knowledge of CAE Tools (Comos E3D; Autocad Plant 3d etc.)
- Project Management knowledge
- Engineering education (University) for mechanical engineering or process engineering
- Several years experience as a process/piping/ arrangement engineer in power or WtE plant engineering
- Sound knowledge in the field of thermal process engineering, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
- Independent and responsible way of working
- Proactive communication, persuasiveness and team spirit
- Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of French is also advantageous
- Profound knowledge in the application of standard software, especially knowledge of E3D / Autocad Plant 3D / COMOC is advantageous
- Willingness to travel internationally from time to time (approx. 10 %)
