Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the process design within the Balance of Plant (BoP) department (e.g. water and air systems, bottom ash transport, fuel oil system, waste delivery systems, waste crane, etc.)
  • You are the first point of contact for all process-related questions in the BoP scope
  • You compile P&ID’s and engineering lists
  • You prepare functional design specifications and participate in factory acceptance tests of the control system
  • You design components in detail (e.g. layout of piping systems, selection of unit types, etc.) and support the preparation of the operating manual (templates and projects)
  • You cooperate in HAZOP studies and support the commissioning with control optimizations and join plant performance test

Your experiences

  • Masters’ in Mechanical or Process Engineer with 3+ years’ experience in process engineering, commissioning or process engineer of EPC projects
  • Solid knowledge of different plant processes, CAE programs, logic diagrams, P&IDs, simulation tools, and MS Office
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders on different levels (procurement, suppliers, site staff)
  • Structured, self-driven, positive, and responsible personality
  • Fluency in English, German knowledge is a plus
