Your responsibilities
- You are the first point of contact regarding process questions related to the water steam cycle
- You prepare heat and mass balance diagrams for the water steam cycle in Energy from Waste plants
- You size the main and auxiliary equipment and prepare and review the corresponding engineering documents
- You participate in safety studies and contribute to safety integrity level reviews
- You prepare functional design specifications and participate in factory acceptance tests of the control system
- You support the commissioning with control optimizations and join plant performance test
- You travel up to 15%
Your experiences
- Masters’ degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering with experience in process design.
- At least 3 years of experience in comparable function in the energy, environmental technology, renewable energies or in similar industry
- Solid knowledge in process engineering, use of CAE programs, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and simulation tools (COMOS, Ebsilon, MatLab, Aspen etc.)
- Adaptable team player with good communication skills on different levels (from commissioning teams to Project Managers)
- Self-driven, open minded personality with attention to detail and precise working style
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
