Project Contract Manager (m/f)

Your responsibilities

  • As active member of the project execution team, cooperates with the project leadership in the start-up and execution phases:
    • Identifies contractual risks, defines and implements mitigation strategies
    • Prepares contract analysis and develops commercial execution plans
    • Negotiates agreements with customers, contractors, business partners and suppliers and ensures their documentation
    • Actively drives out-of-court claims and disputes management and successfully achieves settlements
  • Liaises with project functions (including engineering, finance & controlling, scheduling, quality, EHS, site management) to drive identification and management of project risks and opportunities
  • Ensures timely notifications as required in project contracts, and manages claims recovery from third parties and project insurers
  • Champions the company’s compliance program

Your experiences

  • Degree in engineering, or business administration, or law from accredited University
  • 5+ years’ experience acquired in contract management for international corporations:
    • Draft and negotiate complex agreements in a turnkey project execution environment
    • Project risks management
    • Interact and negotiate with public and private contracting entities and business partners
    • Manage and resolve our-of-court claims and disputes
  • In-depth understanding of project management and contract law as well as commercial awareness
  • Ability to convince and obtain the agreement of others, incl. Senior Business Partners
  • Strong written communication skills including ability to draft complex claims and settlements. Fluency in English and French, German is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, PIRS, Cash Tool, Primavera
  • Integrity, problem solving and creative attitude
  • Ability to travel on short notice
