Your responsibilities
- You define and develop new products and technologies from scratch to business introduction, in collaboration with internal or external specialists, or alone
- You ideally master all aspects of process engineering (physics, thermodynamics, mechanics, chemistry, controls)
- You can analyze technological solutions, identify weak spots and opportunities, and propose alternatives
- Programming skills (Excel, Matlab, Python, Simulink) is a big plus
- You travel to plants (typically in Europe) to carry out commissioning tasks and tests (approx. 10% of the time)
- You collaborate both internally (with other business units) as well as with external clients and suppliers
- You take over deputy tasks of senior project managers
Your experiences
- You have an engineering degree (MSc or dissertation in mechanical, process or chemical engineering), ideally with a few years of experience in industry
- You have a clear R&D mindset
- You are rather a generalist in many disciplines than a specialist in a certain one
- You are flexible, adaptable, and interactive at all levels (senior management to technicians)
- You are a good communicator (oral and written) with excellent presentation skills. You are at ease to deliver technical reports autonomously
- You have a taste for hands on work
- English is a must; German, French and Japanese are a plus
