Your responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance (QA) lead ensuring regulatory and Quality compliance on the project
  • Planning the project-specific quality strategy and quality control and prevention measures assessing the risks of NCR (i.e not meeting Quality Objectives) based on the contractual requirement and execution strategy
  • Monitor and ensure that the planned quality control measures are implemented for each work package achieving the Quality objectives 
  • Training people in HZI’s Quality System(s), tools & processes
  • Preparation of the project specific Inspection and Test Programs. Checking and / or Approving Quality related deliverables such as Inspection & Test Plans, Project specific Quality Control Programs (QCPs
  • Coordination of planned Customer workshop inspections and their quality control measures (Kick off meeting and inspections), including coordination with any third-party inspection agencies during production 

Your experiences

  • Degree of Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng) or Masters of Science (MSc.)
  • More than 5 years Industrial experience in the field of Quality Management (QM) / Quality Assurance (QA) applied during plant engineering, manufacturing, construction & commissioning
  • Project Management experience an advantage
  • Experience in the manufacture and assembly of welded constructions in Energy from Waste, Power Plants, Oil & Gas (Boiler, Piping, Steel Structure, Static & Rotating equipment etc.)
  • Italian (mother tongue), English (minimum B2 level) and additional language is preferred
  • Strong communication skills & leadership presence (ability to take a strong position, e.g. during a non-conformance discussion with Engineering or with a Supplier)
