HZI’s Service Group combines its own research and development with comprehensive manufacturing and erection capabilities to support our clients throughout the entire life cycle of their plant.

Your responsibilities

  • Overall project management of sales projects in respect of scheduling, economic, qualitative and technical objectives including coordination and cost control
  • Optimization of offered solutions with a strong focus on customer needs and practicability
  • Technical examination of the customer specification
  • Development of plant design / system concepts and layout in close cooperation with internal expert groups and customers
  • Coordination of internal interfaces and externally with partners and customers
  • Presentation of sales projects to customers in close cooperation with the sales manager and the contract manager
  • Contract negotiations related to the technical parts of the contract

Your experiences

  • FH/TS degree (e.g. Engineering) or Technician with further education in business administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management lead functions, preferably in plant construction and in international matrix organizations
  • Strong technical understanding, preferably with experience in processes engineering
  • Contractual knowledge is an advantage
  • Highly organized and flexible with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Capability to manage complex and challenging circumstances
  • Strong customer focus with ability to build and maintain networks and solid relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills that facilitate solution-oriented interaction and negotiation with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and German language; and other languages are an advantage
  • Willingness for international travel
