Your responsibilities

Leadership
  • Building up and leading the Renewable Gas (RG) Services for the Retrofit organization with 20 employees
  • Member of RG Service management and RG Schmack and RG Biomethan management teams
  • Responsible for Retrofit P&L
  • Develop the Retrofit strategic plan to achieve the growth and profitability objectives
  • Define the budget and the resources needed (own or shared) to develop the turnover and margins
  • Participate in the definition and implementation of a common strategy with other RG Service and RG New build entities
  • Implement the Retrofit organization build-up and transformation
  • Drive the service mindset in the organization
Operations
  • Recruit, onboard and integrate the retrofit proposals, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams, in Schwandorf, Zeven, Barberey, Zürich and other locations as appropriate
  • Define the ways of working and processes within the retrofit organization, within the RG New build organization and in line with SyS organization
  • Steer and manage the various retrofit departments and their workload, motivate the teams, set their priorities, coordinate their actions, facilitate their communication
  • Grow team competence, ensure knowledge transfer from RG New build teams
  • Develop competitive and profitable proposals
  • With support of Sales / BD, identify Customers’ needs and standardize / modularize winning retrofit offerings
  • Manage projects and associated risks and ensure on-time, quality, costs project delivery
  • Identify efficiency improvement needs and define a continuous improvement plan to ensure customers and employees satisfaction, while improving profitability
  • Ensure that the whole team is involved in the continuous improvement process
  • Participate in the implementation of the QHSE policy and take a proactive QHSE approach
  • Ensure that the whole team actively participates in the QHSE approach

Your experiences

  • Degree in mechanical or technical engineering or microeconomic studies, or equivalent education
  • Several years of experience in project management in industrial plants
  • Experienced in working with matrix organizations
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering, construction and/or commissioning management
  • Strong experience in business transformation and reorganization
  • Sound knowledge of technical processes or products applied in plants
  • Sound knowledge in commercial and product management
  • Promoting and securing long-term internal and external cooperation based on corporate values
  • Customer, service and HSE orientation
  • Leadership and team spirit with never ever give-up mindset
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
  • German and English language is a must, French is a plus
