Your responsibilities

• Very close collaboration with HZI AG Group Finance/Accounting team
• Financial Closing (on a monthly basis):
o Performance of month-end closing procedures for branches / subsidiaries outside Slovakia according to IFRS (incl. intercompany cost recharging, cost allocations, calculation percentage-of-completion, accruals, VAT reports)
• Responsibility for accounting, reporting, VAT reporting and administration for small, newly established companies outside Slovakia
• Reporting support (actuals, budget/forecast, cash, FTE, order intake):
o Act as the main contact for designated HZI entities
o Actively assist HZI entities in technical and professional requests (also ERP related)
o Review and ensure high quality monthly reporting (software “Tagetik”)
o Hitachi Zosen Corporation Group reporting Japan: quarterly and annual group reporting of HZI Group entities.
o IFRS standalone consolidated financial statements (incl. notes) of HZI AG
o Respective financial statements of HZI entity according to local GAAP
o Coordination and Organization of external financial audits/reviews for designated HZI entities of HZI Group consolidation
• Handling and supervision of HZI intercompany reconciliation process
• Onboard, support, and train new finance employees within the Group to ensure compliance with internal rules and regulations
• Support/plan/implement new developments of ERP systems

Your experiences

• Intermediate negotiations skills
• Bachelor level, Engineering degree is a plus
• Procurement experience in EPC environment
• Skills in stakeholder’s management and change management
• Takes responsibility to deliver best technical/commercial solution
• Able to communicate at all levels
• Change agent
• Self-motivated and capable of working in multi-functional teams within policies, regulations and rules
• Able to detach complex tasks into working packages
• Resilient under time pressure
• Intermediate negotiations skills
• Some knowledge of supply contract law
• Knowledge of Sourcing, Bidding and Category Management
• Knowledge of SAP (SRM & MM) and MS-Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
• Ideally good market and product knowledge
• Multicultural experience
• English other additional language is a plus

We offer

• Advanced education in accounting/finance/controlling (e.g. Degree in business administration at university/university of applied science)
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and accounting department, preferably in the sector of plant construction and capital goods industry
• High expertise in month-end closing procedures
• Flexible, communicative, resilient
• Good knowledge of ERP systems. E.g. SAP and SAP Business One (finance, controlling module), reporting tools (e.g. Tagetik) and Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel)
• Good language skills in English; any other “HZI language” is a plus (like German, French,…)
• Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Experience in local General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the countries HZI is present
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently draw conclusions
