Your responsibilities

  • You are the responsible of the process design for the combustion and the steam generation in an Energy from Waste (EfW) project
  • You prepare and maintain the P&IDs and process engineering data in CAE tool (Comos) in close collaboration with other departments
  • You develop process concepts, guidelines and specifications for your area of competence
  • You define advanced process control schemes for the DCS of the plant
  • You participate to the factory acceptance test of several process control systems DCS/SIS
  • You support the commissioning team from the office and on site in troubleshooting and in tuning the controllers and the combustion control system once the plant is started
  • You participate to HAZOP studies and training sessions for the plant operators
  • You are available for travelling up to about 20% of your time

Your experiences

  • Trained process / control / environmental engineer with 5+ years’ experience as process, or project engineer in energy or power plants
  • Experience in combustion processes, logic diagrams, control systems, plant automation, instrumentation and HAZOP studies
  • Strong analytical skills combined with critical thinking, precise work style and communications skills
  • Curious, proactive and optimistic personality
  • Good knowledge in engineering tools (CAE, preferably Comos)
  • Fluency in English. As a plus: German and French basics
