Your responsibilities

  • You are the reference contact person for Service Engineering regarding all process/technology topics and questions for Energy from Waste (EfW) Flue Gas Treatment (FGT) Systems upgrade and retrofit projects (proposals and execution)
  • You are capable of analysing design features of various OEM technologies, particularly dry & semi-dry, conceiving competitive concept and basics of enhancement and optimisation solutions, including defining levels of guaranteed performances
  • You support the tendering process developing cost competitive process and layout solutions while meeting Client’s project specific requirements
  • You prepare process engineering designs, data sheets, P&IDs, engineering lists, technical and functional descriptions, logic diagrams, and specify component designs (e.g. scrubbers, SCR catalyst, pumps, valves, piping, ducts, etc.)
  • You ensure correct implementation of the process specifications during engineering and construction phases
  • You support during the execution phase (specify measurement technology, documents control etc.)
  • You support during the commissioning and testing phases for control optimisation and customer training
  • You have experience in and carry out risk analysis (HAZOP, ATEX, FMEA or alike)
  • You share knowledge and train junior colleagues in the team

Your experiences

  • Trained process / chemical / mechanical / environmental engineer with 12+ years’ FGT experience as process engineer in plant engineering, including previous experience in upgrade and retrofit projects.
  • Proficient in the use of CAE tools (COMOS or alike) and MS Office
  • Organized, precise, and high-quality work style combined with good communication skills
  • Fluent in English and German, French would be a plus
  • This position is open for both Italy or Germany offices
