Your responsibilities

To support C&C Tendering activities in relation to erection costs calculation with project tendering proposal process.
  • Analysis of technical specification,
  • Support to tender team with preparation of necessary tender documents including crane concept and erection concept,
  • Continuous development / evolution of Tender documentation,
  • Preparation of technical part of RFQ for bidders, if necessary,
  • BOQ (bill of quantity) analysis & review,
  • Erection price sheet template preparation,
  • Evolution & update of calculation tools for specific projects, if necessary,
  • Calculation of final tender costs for installation lots, including Site Infrastructure & Site Manpower costs based on available market information,
  • Market benchmark analysis & studies incl. contractors, productivity factors, hourly rates, etc.
  • Ensures effectiveness and efficiency through adherence to tendering processes,
  • Supports the department in achieving objectives including close cooperation with C&C ME Tendering and Subcontracting team
  • SUMO (supplier database) administration – contractors’ approval, RFQ preparation and issue, forum administration
  • Participates in developing related procedures & process improvements within overall function
  • Ensures effectiveness and efficiency through adherence to subcontracting processes
  • Supports the department in achieving objectives including close cooperation with C&C ME tendering team
  • Supports & deputies for Head of TES & PCM for subcontracting issues

Your experiences

  • Good commercial and administrative skills from international technical environment
  • Technical or commercial education
  • Experience as estimator for installation in waste to energy industry or power plant market - ideally worldwide,
  • In-depth Construction site experience,
  • Ideally good market and product knowledge
  • May have some project management experience
  • Knowledge of Sourcing, Bidding and Category Management
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS-Office
  • Knowledge of eProcurement solutions
  • Negotiation skills
  • Understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon)
  • Understanding of QA processes appropriate to Supply Markets
  • Cooperative and honest approach
  • Takes responsibility for ensuring best outcomes
  • Able to clearly communicate at all levels
  • Promotes internal and external collaboration, based on the company values
  • Self-motivated and capable of working under limited supervision within policies, regulations and rules
  • Some problem-solving experience desired

  • Ideally multilingual with Good English
