Supply Chain Assistant / Buyer (f/m)

Your responsibilities

  • Issue RFQ to suppliers in compliance with Supply Chain Management process and Buyers and Category Manager guidelines a strategy
  • Follow-up on suppliers offers to receive bids on time and in compliance with request
  • Upload files to the document management system
  • Provide SAP administration such as issuing Purchase Orders and Change Orders as well as manage invoicing process
  • Collect bank guarantees from Buyers and Category Managers and store them accordingly
  • Follow-up on bank guarantees validities
  • Request prolongation of the bank guarantees validities from suppliers in case needed
  • Ensure compliance with established processes and procedures within Supply Chain Management 

Your experiences

  • Highly effective time management, planning and organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities
  • Strong customer focus and sensitive to multiple foreign cultures and interact with people of different nationalities at all levels in different locations
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP, eProcurement & MS-Office solutions
  • English knowledge other additional language is a plus
  • Previous working experience as Buyer for at least 2 years ideally within Power, Engineering or Civils industries
  • Total working experience minimum 5 years
