Your responsibilities

  • You prepare static concepts, preliminary and main statics of industrial steel structures for both, tendering and execution phase.
  • You create structural 3D-Models for Basic Engineering for EFW or Hazardous Waste Projects
  • You generate steel structure Drawings from the 3D Model
  • You manage the internal and external process for the steel structure project
  • You create verifiable static documentation and calculate load data
  • You run static assessment of load-bearing systems
  • You consult other departments regarding statics and construction
  • You participate in project meetings for quotations and supplier selection
  • You manage the steel structure quality concept
  • You optimize erection concepts in close collaboration with the erection department
  • You travel approx. 2% of your time to suppliers or construction sites (worldwide)

Your experiences

  • You are a trained Structural or Civil Engineer with 2+years’ experience in structural engineering of Steel and/or Support Structures
  • You have solid knowledge of Eurocode, RSTAB, Navisworks and MS Office; TEKLA and BIM knowledge is a plus
  • You have excellent communication skills towards internal and external stakeholders, and are used to talk to suppliers
  • You can cope very well with changing requirements, assumptions, and you work well with remote teams
  • You are a curious, brave, ambitious, confident personality who enjoys sharing knowledge and who assumes responsibilities
  • You are fluent in English and German; French is a plus
