Technical Project Manager Balance of Plants

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full Balance of Plants scope in terms of cost, quality and time (incl. establishing the time schedules)
  • Coordination and provision of Concept und Basic Engineering under consideration of internal and external interfaces
  • Professional guidance on different project functions within the project scope (work package)
  • Lead of a small team of 2-3 system engineers
  • Ensure on-time purchasing of the lots in the BOP workpackage
  • Preparation of technical specifications for the BOP systems
  • Responsible for supplier selection and timely purchase order
  • Supplier expediting during detail engineering (incl. documentation management and inspections)
  • Active Collaboration with arrangement planning
  • Coordination of the construction works with regard to the integration of the plant as a whole, check of the interfaces for every lot
  • Guarantee of the information flow within the project team and initiation of problem solving
  • Prepare decision making documents for the Project Management Team
  • Traveling <30 %

Your experiences

  • Mechanical engineer or technical specialist with several years’ experience in project management of industrial plants
  • Training and certification in project management (IPMA or PMI) or relevant project management experience
  • Very good command of English language (speaking and writing)
  • Very good MS Office application skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, convinces internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers and in procuring complex systems
  • Experience with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Planning and organizational skills, problem-solving capability, high quality standards, ability to get things done, team-building and communication skills
